The seller of a $3 million Seattle house is offering it up for auction in the hope of attracting a big chunk of the proceeds.
The home, which was purchased by the Seattle Real Estate Board (SERB), is being offered as part of a larger sale.
“This is one of the most amazing homes in the world, and it’s not even in Seattle,” said owner Ken McKinnon.
I’m not selling it for less than the price it was listed at,” he added. “
It’s a great house, and they’ve done a great job.
I’m not selling it for less than the price it was listed at,” he added.
The house was built in 1894 and is owned by the McKinnon family, which also owns a house in South Carolina.
“We’ve had great success selling it,” said McKinnon, adding that he has sold “hundreds of other properties.”
The home’s seller, who is not identifying his or her name, said he wants to help “make it into something special.”
“This was a house built for me and my family to be a part of.
We’re trying to do it in a way that’s going to make it something special,” he said.
The seller said the home is currently valued at $1.5 million.
