A mysterious man who worked as an engine builder on his 2003 Nissan Sentra has been arrested in a car dealership in Ohio.
The suspect, who has not been named, was allegedly spotted driving around in the dealership’s parking lot last week.
The man allegedly told a salesman that he worked as a mechanic and had been living in the country for a year.
The salesman told police that he had not seen the man in the parking lot before and that he did not think the man was a stranger.
He said he spoke to the man’s wife and told her that he was not the suspect, but that she could not be sure.
The dealership said it has been cooperating with police, and has offered assistance to the owner.
The dealership said that the suspect is no longer employed there.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office at 937-731-3312 or Crime Stoppers at 866-371-TIPS.
