The Suncoaster building materials plant near Orlando, Florida, has been evacuated due to the fire and is closed for several days, officials said Monday.
“There are no reported injuries, and we have evacuated all workers to a safe location,” the company said in a statement.
“The Suncoasters building materials production facility has been closed indefinitely, and all facilities are in a state of partial lockdown.
The plant is closed to the public due to structural integrity issues, and employees will be redirected to a temporary location to begin restoration operations on the plant.
Employees are advised to continue to work in their normal activities until they have cleared the safety requirements and are allowed to resume their normal duties.”
The facility is located near the intersection of U.S. 1 and S.W. 4th streets.
